This Saturday wasn't one of particular importance, but one that seems to illustrate my life well. Thomas was out of town in San Francisco for work for a few days and so the girls and I were doing our own thing. After spraining my ankle this week (we'll leave that to your imaginations of how, I'm not telling, but yes I am okay), I laid in bed as much as possible and then on Saturday morning got up and got myself feeling pretty cute, and snazzy, which I'm sure anyone who has been pregnant knows, it's kind of hard to do. I had a lovely morning with my friend getting a pedicure and then off to pick up Alli and Ainsley from their friends house and then on to pick Claire up at a birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza. We had some extra time before the party was over so we decided to go through the drive-thru at Wendy's and get some lunch while we waited. It was 109 degrees outside so the girls got their frosty and I got a large Fruit Punch....mmmmm refreshing! I successfully park and take a drink of my Fruit Punch when no sooner do I feel a freezing cold splash all over the front of me and down into a puddle into the seat.... AAAAAAAHHHH what happened (I still do not know), put suddenly I'm covered, and sitting in that oh so refreshing Fruit Punch, I quickly grab for the bag, and of course no napkins! Luckily I had some Kleenex in the glove box and tried as I could to wipe up the puddle I was sitting in and dab at the front of my shirt..... The only good thing about it being 109 degrees in AZ is that exposed fabric dries quickly, unfortunately the 'inseam' of my pants were not that well exposed and didn't experience the desert drying effect. Of course it was now time to walk into a very crowded pizza place to go get Claire, with four ward members already there looking at me like, well I don't know like what. How do you explain being a pregnant lady with pink splotches all over the front of your shirt, and it looking like you had an accident on your way in. Luckily the ladies in the ward are great and we had a good laugh about my whole experience. Too bad I had to wait in there for another 5 minutes so Claire could finish up with her party before I could spare myself a little less embarrassment from complete strangers.... :)

ahhh...sounds familiar. I'm constantly covered in food. I like to blame my kids but it's really not them...I'm just clumsy. Glad you're okay after your ankle sprain!
Jolene! I can't wait to hear the whole story of the ankle sprain. I'm glad you're okay. Sorry about the spill. Those things always happen to me when I'm feeling like I look pretty good, or when I'm wearing my favorite things. It's just not fair! See ya soon! I'll bring the People's.
Great story and love the little pics to go along with it!!! I am glad we didn't re-injure your ankle last night! Oh, and thanks about the header!
I'm SO sorry to have made you wait longer! I had NO clue! By the way...I didn't notice anything! I hope your ankle feels better!
That is a GREAT story. Always a good time being pregnant. Take care, Tammi
