It's My Birthday Shout Hooray!

Another year older and wiser too...Happy Birthday to Me!!!

For My Birthday This Year I Got....

Heart Attacked....it almost sent me to the hospital.

A HOT date with this guy...

...and this cute guy came along too!

I got surprised by all of these GREAT friends!

I got a little woozy....not really what kind of girl do you think I am?!

and... I got a killer foot ache from these shoes that have a 4" heel on them, but I think they're worth it.

Being the youngest of 8 children I think my parents were a little wore out on the whole Birthday thing, and I can understand why for sure, but it's always so much fun to CeLeBrAte it, and I think it's important too. It makes me even at my age feel special, and gives my girls a lot of joy too celebrate too. They give me hugs and kisses as gifts, along with a bunch of handmade papers, they get excited about getting ready for it and try to do nice things for me. They even sang me songs all afternoon. I love it.

I have a shameful admission that I never, ever remember celebrating my Mom's birthday, and I've asked my older sister and she doesn't either, how sad! I didn't even really know when her birthday was for the longest time and I wonder how sad that must have made her, or if after so many kids and so many birthday parties she and my dad agreed not to do anything. But I can't see any woman turning down the opportunity to feel special for a day whether they say they want it or not. So now I'm sorry for being so selfish and not being able to show my mom my love and devotion on her birthday. Of all of the moms she deserved to have a day of honor, especially after raising us 8 snotty kids ...

So Tommy thanks for ALWAYS making me feel special on my Birthday and ALWAYS going the extra mile. Thanks to everyone for all the phone calls, cards, and nice thoughts, thanks to those who came last night, and especially thanks to Tammi for setting it all up. I have to say this was one of my favorite Birthdays ever!!!
