Party Hardy

Whenever we've been in town for New Years Eve we have been fortunate enough to spend it with the Mikos Family, this year was no different and I'm so glad for this fairly regular tradition we have. We had a wonderful night of Wii games, Rock Band (who knew I could rock out to the
B-52's and get an almost perfect score) movie watching, and way too much good food.
This is my dear friend Amy, she was one of the first friends I made when we moved to Arizona from Colorado and she's stuck with me for the past 7 years, poor girl, I think Tommy might be paying her under the table just to keep me sane.
Here is my dashing husband with his now infamous self portraits. It literally takes my breath away...I'm not so sure if that's good or bad in this instance.

Alli, snuggled in with blankie and pillow ready to watch a movie. Notice the bruise by her eye, apparently earlier in the day she had a brush with the trash can while riding her bike, glad she survived it.
Claire and cutie Paige cheesing it up for the camera.

The night ended with glow sticks and sparklers, of which my darling Claire burnt her hair with. Special thanks to Chance for 'patting' it out and then taking the heat from Claire for "hitting her on the head" she apparently had no clue she was on fire.
What a great start to 2009, spending it with a family we love.

What a fun New Year's! You're lucky to have had a good friend for so long! We always move just as I begin to get some really good friends.

Looks like you guys had a great Christmas and New Years. I love that picture of you and Amy. I miss you and can't wait to hang out, is Twilight still playing? I think I owe you a Christmas gift.
