Invite me...

So the time is here...I have sort of dreaded it and I will admit that I am going through some emotional dilemmas here. My last baby going through all the baby rights of passages. So sad, so soon, went by so fast!

My dear friend Erika took these pictures (and more) and made up the invites for me. Since our little baby boys are only a day apart in age and practically live together we figured we would celebrate their first year together. We have had a blast planning every little detail, purely for us, don't worry we're not delusional enough to think that they care.

Since we don't have any family near by I sent these invites out to my family to enjoy, who doesn't like a picture of a delicious little boy?

I about died yesterday when Thomas' grandma sent me this email...poor thing. I am quite positive I gave her a momentary heart attack when she thought she was missing out on a party.

Hi Jolene & Tommy,

We got your Invitation yesterday (9-19) to the boot scootin' shindig in lieu of Rainier turning ONE! Our mail delivery has alot to be desired; we never get delivery until 4:30-to-5:00 pm every day! So as we read that the shindig was at 5:00 on the 19th, I panicked! Grandpa said, "there just has to be a Loveland Ranch somewhere in Arizona; not just in Loveland,CO. So we decided the invitation was just to show us how cute it was written, & more importantly, the cute, cute picture of Rainier standing there in front of the door so we could see how he looks "standing tall". The "killer" of the whole card was the little picture of the little (I'm trying to be kind) legs in the cowboy boots! Those are actually Rainier's legs, aren't they? SO cute & SO funny! Thank you for thinking of us! We love you all very much.

Grandma & Grandpa

I'm glad she figured it out and I hope the rest of the family did also. We did have a boot scootin' time, and I look forward to many more. I will have to download the 5 million pictures I took and get that birthday bash post done!

OH MY WORD! Loveland, CO...I did't even think of that, how hilarious! Glad she figured it out though.

SO CUTE. A joint party is such a good idea--half the cost, double the ideas. Can't believe he's already one.
