And so it is...
These two little babies went from this...
to this, all in one incredibly fast year.
These boys were sent to their mamma's as another link to their friendship, their sisterhood, and their faith in life. It was a hard year with depressions and sickness, with lost jobs and family trials...but my little guy was always an answer to my prayers, a glimmer of hope, and a lot of joy.
So what better way to celebrate their 1 year old birthdays then together, forming a Cowboy and Indian Bash that would burn any tee-pee down.
It consisted of my very cute cowboy.
A singing cowgirl, and two beautiful Indians.
A very proud (and handsome) papa.

To create one smoking huge s'more cake.
A three tier baby cake fit for even the gruffest of cowboys.
A cowboy belly tap signaling completion of the birthday cake destruction.
A birthday wash-down in the sink.
The present....a hand made felt book from the cowboys Mama.
Which definitely would not be complete with out an owl...
All of these things and more representing the hours of fun put into this one year old birthday bash.
We love you Rainier.
(By the way please note that any pictures that look any good were of course taken by Erika of Yellow Pear Photography, shes the best. Can't you tell which ones?)
