Quinceanera

My Alli, she is so sweet.

We hadn't thrown a full out birthday party for her in quite a few years and being that we have been in love with Alice in Wonderland lately, we thought that we had a perfect theme party on our hands.

Perfect theme it was. Maybe too perfect. With such a theme came so many opportunities and I believe we (a few friends and I) may have gone a bit overboard. But oh how I do love a good party.

Starting the events with a personalized invitation inviting all to this magical event.

Before I knew it the day was here and the setting was perfect, with quite the cast of characters arriving for the extravaganza.

The Queen of Hearts was there to reign over the guests.

The Ace of Spades followed her beckon call.

Cheshire Cat graced us with her presence, never disappearing once throughout the entire party.

White Rabbit wasn't late, not even once.

And beautiful flowers came to life just to enjoy the celebration.

Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee danced, and pranced, and sang some songs.

And hand made flamingos added the perfect touch.

Teams were picked .

And teams divided.

Allowing the Tweedle's to make sure games were played with accuracy and grace.

The food was delightful.

Maybe a bit too inviting.

And the giant caterpillar of cake balls was the perfect touch to carry out the theme.

All of Alli's guests had a great time. Leaving home hyper, happy and on a sugar high. What more could be asked of the perfect party?

I just might still be recovering from this shin-dig.

So the final note:

Happy 10th Allison, and while I am thinking about it, lets just add on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th!

We'll see if she will be gracious enough to let me dress up as a nerd for her 16th.
