So we are settling in to things here, and I've been feeling like I can spare some time for exploring.
About a 5 minute walk from our house is a little local drag of main street shops. The kids call it "The Village" simply due to the fact that my sister has a street very similiar to her house and thats what they call it there.
We have already established a few of our local retail shops, and surprisingly, it involves icecream, or in better jest, custards and italian ice. Our "free" walks to the library or wherever we wonder, usually ends up costing me a few bucks.
We can't seem to resist the call of a nice cold refreshing treat.
And I can't resist this kids screams for "Icecream! Icecream!"
Another favorite is becoming Wednesday nights when they have movies at the park.
Offering this amazing view,
a fun movie for all, and on this particular night, some rain to add to the fun.
There really is tons of stuff to do here, the parks are amazing and huge, there are museums within a few short miles, one we already went to, and other countless things to do, I'm excited for them all.
