Let the festivities begin.

Each year in September the Pittsburgh Parks and Rec put on an Alphabet Walk Festival. They have choose a theme and decorate the parks entire walking route with alphabets and stations to do fun things at, it truly is amazing to think of the man power behind something like this. The entire event is free and every few feet there is something new and fun for the kids to participate in, including painting, clay modeling, "fishing", face painting, coconut bowling, face painting, puppet making etc.

Along with all these fun things they had the most amazing "Balloon Guy" I have ever seen, it was about a half hour wait, but all kids agreed it was well worth it.

We had an awesome day, enjoying the warmth, fun and festivities, too bad we won't be here next year to enjoy it again.

Holy cow, how amazing! This is when it's awesome to live in a big city. And is that a PENGUIN balloon? Incredible.
