If you know Alli you know she enjoys a good book. Sometimes I sneak into her room well past bedtime and see her reading away. She's a huge Rick Riordan fan and I believe it was his Greek Mythology books like Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief that got her hooked. She knows all of the characters, knows when the next book in the series come out and she was dedicated enough to the books last year that she dressed up as Artemis for Halloween.
I like this little addiction of hers, I proudly support book reading. So this October when word got around that Rick Riordan was coming to our main library here in Pittsburgh I knew I had to get tickets. We had such a fun little night with each other and some other members of our ward here. Rick Riordan was very personable and gave an inspiring little speech on his career and how to become an author. I'm so glad Alli and I were able to share this great little experience together.

How cool, what a fun thing to share together. I wish I could get my kids to love reading.
LUCKY, why don't Alli and Matt talk about cool stuff like that?
Soooo fun! My kids would have died! I can't decide if I should tell them or not...
