I've had quite a few people ask me how much Rainier weighs now. The truth of the matter is I have no clue. They usually get weighed at birth, a few days later at their first Dr's appointment, and then you wait for a whole month to pass until you have your next Dr's appointment. So I decided I'd find out before that.
I got my handy mail scale out that I had used to weigh all of my signs that I used to make before I shipped them out. Got a big bowl, and there you have it; Jolene's homemade baby scale.
5 lbs 15 oz at birth5 lbs 7 oz at first dr's appt
7 lbs 10oz the other night.
Way to go Rainier.
