Last night the girls and I were watching American American Idol...I secretly like to see all the weirdo's, and I'll only watch until they're done casting all of the "top" people and then I quickly loose interest. The girls have gotten into it quite a bit this year and I have enjoyed sitting with them and hearing their comments about each contestant etc .
As the girls were getting ready for bed, brushing their teeth in the bathroom Thomas and I overheard them talking.
Ainsley: "Alli you really want to be on American Idol, don't you?"
Alli: "Yeah, definitely, I'm going to practice every day so that I can get good enough to be on."
Ainsley: "I don't want to be on it." Giggle (Ainsley is always giggling.)
Claire: "I don't want to be a singer on American Idol, I want to be the JUDGE on American Idol."
Ainsley: "Well Claire you're going to have to work hard and go through all of the American Idol so you'll know how to judge."
Claire: "I knoooooowwww!"
This conversation cracked me up, one that right now in their lives they have no doubt in the reality that one day Alli will be on American Idol and that Claire will be a judge, and two their decisions show their personalities perfectly. Alli is outgoing and loves to be in front of people having fun, Ainsley is easy going and doesn't like to 'over extend' herself too much, and Claire...well is Claire and really wouldn't mind telling people what to do. :) I love those girlies.

That is FANTASTIC!! Completely sums up everthing GREAT about each of them. You thought you were nervous about Alli at the school talent show, could you imagine seeing her up against Simon, NO worse up against Claire. TEE-HEE!!
