Bookends

This past week I have been working on scanning my old photos into the computer...boy it's lots of work. But I have been enjoying trips down 'memory lane' for sure.

While working on Alli's pictures I was taken aback by how similar she and Rainier look. My sister in law keeps on telling me how I have little bookends and I think she's right.

Their similarities are not only looks, they both:

suck their two middle fingers, which then enforces an almost crippling attachment to their baby blankets (The blanket thing is something Alli hasn't been able to lose)

have very happy, easy going demeanor's

love fresh food, including green beans and strawberries

crawled at 10 months

smile and 'cheese' it up for friend and foe alike

have no problem going to other people

(Claire and Ainsley both would scream and scream when others would have to watch them)

and I am sure there will be many more similarities to come.

I am so grateful for all of my beautiful children and was so grateful to have the time to look back and see what some of them have in common. Life truely is amazing.
