My Dad and Nancy swung by Arizona on their way home to Utah last week. We decided we would make a little mini vacation out of it before school started and go to a resort, and also celebrate Nancy's big 6-0!

All of the kids had a blast with Grandpa and Grandma but I had a swelter of pride in my heart when Ainsley was stacking pillows on my dad's lap continuously so he couldn't see and he suddenly looked at her, smiled, and said I can see you have my personality.

Since it was 115 degrees or so we decided to go to the resort where Thomas took me for our anniversary. It has a mini water park inside with a
water slide, lazy river, waterfall, etc.

My sister, Carrie surprised me and brought her 4 boys up from California too which made the trip a blast. I decided I would show this awesome picture from when she was a senior instead of the other more
embarrassing photos of us doing
synchronized swimming and belly flop contests. Why is it that whenever I get around my sisters I turn into a 14 year old again? Complete with the snorts and giggles and very immature humor. Man, it's fun, but I am sure our spouses think we're
nuts and try to keep a safe distance.

The kids had a blast at the water park, and later on that evening in a small private pool having jumping contests also.
Brierton making for a belly flop.

Claire and Alli showing their skills.

Claire is the belly flop Queen I think...she really has no fear.

Rainier couldn't miss out on the fun and showed his determination by scooting on his bum to 'jump in' to Tommy. Maybe Tommy was caught by surprise?

Rainier turned out to be an absolute fish and would cry anytime you would take him out of the water. We think he probably had the best time out of any of us.

Our eventful, long day was ended with a trip to Dairy Queen, where once again Rainier must have had the best time of all.

And Grandpa tucking the girls into bed, swiftly taking them to La-la land.

Cousins alike could not have been happier and I must say I couldn't have been either. It was a great, relaxing, mini vacation, made so much better with all of the extra family.

Ahh Sis, we had so much fun!!! We miss you already! Thanks for not showing our syncronized swimming and the belly flop pictures.. by the way I have never seen that picture of you and I in our twin dresses. I loved those dresses. I don't even remember having two of them...
Looks like a blast! Love that picture of you and your sister, so cute. Claire must be so brave, belly flops HURT. That's why I never learned to dive, I was too afraid of the flop.
I love that pic of you! So fun! The dress if very classic...
I don't believe I have every acted like a 14 year old around you guys . . . sorry I am laughing just at the thought of being with you guys! Love you!
