Monday morning came and I awoke to a sparkling clean kitchen. Do you know what that attests to? One stinkin' good Mothers Day. Are you jealous? Of course not, because I know we are all blessed with just as wonderful husbands. Aren't we all so lucky?
It's okay, though, if you want to be a little bit jealous of these fun tennis shoes Tommy picked out as a gift for me. I love them! They're super light, and super comfy, but most of all super cute, and I have to admit 99% of the time that is the only characteristic I care about in shoes.
Claire snapped this photo of Tommy while he was finishing up my Mothers Day dinner, I was boozin and snoozin in my bedroom. Alright strike boozin, it was just a little diet coke. You might be a bit envious of my pulled pork burritos and DELICIOUS fruit salad though, but then again you may not because you may not even like burritos, so we might be safe.
I on the other hand am JEALOUS that my husband is too cool to get off the phone while 'posin' for a picture for me. Don't you dig the new suit I had to convince him to buy? I think he looks so HANDSOME, but you shouldn't because he's already spoken for. So keep your eyes off. Say a little prayer for him though. He flies out tonight for interviews to get into grad school at Carnegie Mellon in Pennsylvania, we're super excited.
Thanks Tommy BOY for such a nice, relaxing, practically PERFECT Mothers Day, I am positive it was every Mothers Dream, but really it's only my dream that matters.

Good luck with the interview! I am torn as to if I want him to do well or not...but if he does, I would have a good excuse to come visit Pennsylvania....

Wow..I haven't checked in in way to long so here goes. #1: I am a little jealous of your mothers day, it does look perfect. and I do love the suit. #2: both your mothers sound great #3: LOVe the interviews, may have to steal that one. (love your girls too!) #4: we have late night play time with EM too, they are fun. Your boy cracks me up! and lastly, hope the interview went great! Can't wait to hear!!!
Those shoes are super fun! I hope they glow as you run around town...and yummy yummy food. You deserve a special treatment for sure.
