Allison Judy Gearhart is now 11.
Kind of crazy I know.
On the day of her actual birthday,
we had a dinner of her choice; Salmon and Cauliflower.
What kind of 11year old chooses chooses that?
Then we opened presents as she was such a happy tween
to receive her dads old Ipod and her very own perfume, and loads of
lipgloss and such.
A few days later we had her friends over for a party.
It was quite the ordeal to come up with something "cool" enough to do.
In the end I finally passed the test by making these cool tie-dye cupcakes.
The girls had a great, messy time decorating the cupcakes,
and chowing them down.
Rainier had a ball standing on the counter and smacking the balloons around,
I'm a great mom I know.
They then made magnents for their lockers,
with all sorts of cool sayings like LOL and BFF,
and decorated them with cool paper and such.
Lunch was on the list next.
Nothing like home made mini calzones for everyone to prepare.
And finally, the opening of the presents, and we were done.
Alli's first party in the Pitts and I survived the mess, the mayhem, and a monster 2 year old
during the whole thing.

It's crazy how time flies. I have been in the same dilemma with Cole and trying to have a 'cool' party. What happened to pin the tail on the donkey?? Looks like you did a great job. Love the cupcakes. Rain is SOOOOO cute.
