I'm Thirty

Its true, I am no longer in my 20's.
It's honestly something I've been looking forward to for a long time.  I've always felt a bit older than my actual age and for some reason the age of 30 seems like I've made it to some sort of  "maturity".

However whatever shred of maturity I have usually leaves my whole being when I spend time with my sister.  Not sure why. :)
I was so homesick and lonely, so my wonderful spouse sent me to CA for some warm weather, family and lots of fun. Oh and don't forget, the absolute best donuts ever at Sunrize Donuts AND Seafoods.
These donuts are the lightest, flakiest, most perfect ones I've ever tasted. So if you're ever on the wrong side of Pomona, CA and are brave enough, stop, for sure.
What a great time I had, we went to Disneyland and laughed until we couldn't stop, rode some rides and felt like fate was on our side as we came into the gates behind these two....
and true birthday magic hit when we ran into them, or better yet, behind them, on our way out.

I forgot my camera so I only had my cell to take a few pictures, but I can tell you what a wonderful time I had with my family, with too much eating, diet coke, pedicures, delicious pumpkin pancakes with praeline butter, a night of magic, honest its true, and so many fun and memorable moments that I'm a bit too embarrassed to share.

I can not thank my sisters, Debbie and Carrie, for taking such good care of me, I got babied and is it okay to say I needed it? My brother Jay was so good to me too and we had a good time together while we had the worlds fastest Costco trip on a Saturday where I actually chewed out an asian lady and bumped my cart into hers on purpose because she was so rude. YIKES (You see just one bit of my embarrassing moments).

A trip to the West was a fantastic birthday gift, but the BEST was coming home to my family renewed and relaxed, I sure love them all.

I'm so glad you had such a great time with your family! I'm sure you needed a break and some spoiling. I'm so glad you are 30...doesn't make me feel quite so old! I'm sorry I'm so lame and didn't even call you on your birthday...I suck!

Welcome to 30. It's not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. :)
