School is Out!

We have been preparing long and hard for this day, and it is finally here.

Our little Ainsley-kins has graduated! We already have college recruiters knocking on our door.

Her kindergarten class put on a fantastic performance singing such songs as "Peanut Butter" and "First grade, First Grade" (sung to the tune of New York New York) Her performance was spectacular and she especially belted it out when they sang about peanut butter on underwear.

She had the distinct privilege of being in Mrs. Connelly's class with two of her very best friends from church and formed an exclusive A club, which consisted of the three A's: Autumn, Avery and Ainsley, however I will recant the part of it being exclusive because those girls are such nice happy girls and get along with anyone.

Claire had a great year in first grade, but missed most of the year end festivities due to a way weird virus called viral myositis which, after a cold, flu or fever, attacks your calf muscles so you can't walk for a few days. We were scared stiff when she woke up Tuesday morning to her screaming that she couldn't walk, but were so pleased to find out after a few blood tests that it was this weird virus that ran through her body fairly quickly and is now up walking again. It's bizarre how many things can happen to a body.

Alli did exceptionally well also this year. She was happier than happy to receive her old kindergarten teacher as her third grade teacher, and I was happier than happy too. We sure like Mrs. Maloney and look forward to having her for Claire's third grade teacher as well.
All in all it was a great school year. I look forward to a break from homework, early mornings, and the hustle and bustle of it all, we'll just see if I have any patience left by the end of the summer.

I agree to the break, but the arguing and teasing has already begun-hopefully I will get a handle on it before I go crazy! What cute smart girlies you have!

Wow, your girls are so big! Scary about Claire's legs though, seriously. Yikes. Isaac missed his preschool graduation because of sickness, UGH. I thought we were supposed to be sick in the winter and well in the summer!

As I watched them sing about PB and underwear I saw that Autumn could hardly stop the giggles. Oh how she loves those words. I am sad the A's won't go on to 1st grade together, however am happy the Sav and Alli will once again be reunited, can u believe they will already be in 4th grade. WOW!
