Could it be?

My baby isn't a baby anymore, he's officially a toddler.
Its so sad, I literally counted down the days, and felt a little pang in my heart when his birthday arrived.

I did a train themed party for him since he's been obsessed with them lately.

Rainier has been the pickiest eater of all my kids. He almost entirely survives off of a diet of chicken nuggets. But not any kind of chicken nuggets, he absolutely prefers Tyson all white meat nuggets.  Blah.
So junk food was on the menu for the occassion.

Chicken Nuggets, Cheese Pizza, Nachos, and yummy Soft Pretzels.
 Oh those were good.

I attempted a train cake and it turned out fine in the end.
But Pittsburgh has showed me that I am definitely not a baker and by that I mean not even out of a box baker. Quite possibly it could be my oven, because you see that triffle in the picture? It was actually supposed to be an 8" layered round cake...not even close, eh.

As party favors the guests made those cute little party trains, while we all nibbled on the offerings.

At the candy store we chose these fun gummy candies, featuring; egg shapes, teeth, chicken feet, and octopus' or shall I say octopi....just let me know will ya.

The candle was blown and the deed was done: Rainier is two.

Stats on this young whipper snapper:
Uhm....
Diet consists of chicken nuggets and quite possibly Diet Coke, but I will not admit to that.
Is the ruler of the roost.
Talks quite well, with new phrases each day, my favorite as of late:
"Pweaze hooold me, mommy."
His favorite as of late:
"Stop!"
He is also good at getting after the girls when Thomas gets after them, mimicking word for word what Tommy says to them.
Probably not a good sign.
Loves Dora, trains, and does one sweet ice-cream dance.
Has officially switched from calling all the girls Alli to pronouncing each of their names, and as they get out of the car each morning when we drop them off for school he says,
"Bwye Alli, see ya waaater Alli."
"Bwye Cwaire, see ya waaater Cwaire."
"Bwye Ains-e, see ya waaater Ains-e."
Also insists on Tommy kissing him good-bye every day and puckers and smacks his lips until his wish is granted.

He has us all wrapped around his wee little pinky for sure...
and he knows it.
