We've been enjoying decent weather here and have had a lot of fun exploring the parks, if there is one thing the Pitts have to offer it's parks. There are so many and so many of them are unique. Best of all, do you remember those "merry go-round" death traps that you can NEVER find out in the west? Well most of the parks out here have them. Hows that for adventure?
We tried out the Blue Slide Park, everyone has been telling us how we needed to go and we finally got around to it. It has become the kids favorite, we've already visited it twice this week, with it being less than a mile away it makes it easy. Not only is the infamous blue slide built into the hill but it also has 3 seperate play ground areas, just to make sure you don't get bored I guess. The other thing I've enjoyed at the parks here is that the majority of them also offer a seperate toddler playground so Rainier usually feels like the king of the castle being able to scale and climb and slide all in his comfort level.
One thing I don't have much of is time.
Those tunnel pictures reminded me so much of my little Easter bunny Baby who is constantly on the run now. Reminding me of how quickly time goes by and soon, he will loose those last few rolls of baby chub on his arms and thighs and he will be a boy with nothing more to squeeze.
Makes me sad.
He's quickly changing his views on life, just a few short months ago he hated swings:
and now,
my little boy whips his head back, sun in the face and wind in his hair and squeals "Wee-Wee."
Is this a sign that maybe someday he'll also like something other than chicken nuggets, because that protein calls for 90% of his diet.

Oh my..he looks like a little man. Not a squishy baby anymore. I miss his chicken nugget eating face! and so does em....
I am so jealous of those cool tunnels! How awesome for pics!!! I think I start most of my comments to you with , "I'm so jealous...". Strange. Anyway, I love the cool blue slide and the pic of RAinier with his face in the wind...Squire finally likes the swing now too!
It sure is gorgeous! I too feel the same way about my boy Isaac...he feels like such an independent little BOY vs. baby...sniff sniff.
I sure did love R's chunky thighs!
Looks like you are letting yourself get the best of the Pitts. You, know instead of the other way around. You, know letting the Pitts get the best of you.
Love you guys and miss you.
That slide looks awesome! There's a slide like that in Dave's hometown in CA and we always have to visit when we go there. We have one park by us that has a merry-go-round too. It's the best park ever, for all the reasons you mentioned: lots of different areas for different age kids, there's even a duck pond for feeding ducks, and it's old so it has huge shade trees. Love it. Your Rainier is just too cute, he is SO big.
