Photography by Gearhart Girls

The other night the girls and I were waiting for Thomas to get home for work and they were a bit bored. They asked if they could possibly could borrow the camera and I said sure. The following is the fruits of their labor. Thomas and I had a wonderful time viewing the works of art and even got to hear about the well thought out set-up. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.
This is Ainsley's cat Rose, as you can see Rose is lying upon a green pillow that is supposed to represent the grass and behind her are 3 beautiful flowers set up to enhance the beauty of the grass. These are the flowers Thomas brought home from one of his business trips to San Francisco.

Here you see the same lovely set-up with just a different subject: Claire's cat, Tiger Lilly.

Here are the girls trying a little crazy poise....pleas notice Claire's BOTOX t-shirt (thanks Aunt Debbie, and Ainsley's witch dress with a kitty shirt on it (thanks Great Grandma Gearhart)

Check out the posing on this one by Claire with her kitty. Not sure if she was directed to have such body placement or if it just came naturally to her, but again pay special attention to the beautiful set-up of the pillows, once again well, well thought out. :)

And finally of course, not to leave out the still life set up of some of Alli's webkinz and favorite toys. Are you completely impressed as I?

We were also blessed with a little video.

Translation: Alli "Say something."

Claire: "Did mom say we could video tape Alli."

Alli: After realizing Claire would probably tell on her. "I don't know." CLICK.

Thomas and I sure had a good time laughing at this that night. I sure love those girlies.

OH so fun!! Spencer is my picture taker and he can go through 3 sets of batteries a day. He has my old camera and knows how to do things that I never knew it could do. It chirps when he takes pictures. I love how they set up the background, looks like photography could be in their future. Just a side note but if you could show me or send directions on posting videos I would very much be loving you. I have the best video of Maggie singing I am like a star shining brightly (rock n roll version). I would love to share with family and friends. Thanks!

those remind me of the "before and after" shots we used to do with our polaroid camera as a kid. we'd make ourselves ugly for the befores, then do amazing makeovers for after (usually with pantyhose cones for you-know-whats)...i was a weird kid, what can I say?

The grass and flowers set up for the kitties is realy cute. The girls could work for Sears. The backgrounds there look just about the same!
