Another one.

I received this card on Saturday....

I don't think I could have said it better...thank you Hallmark oh and thank you Thomas for a wonderful weekend and Anniversary.
We had such a great, busy weekend together. I was surprised by a call Friday afternoon while out running errands from Thomas saying he was home....Home at noon!!! Woo-hoo! I quickly turned my car around and picked him up. I enjoyed spending the day with my absolute favorite person getting ready for our Easter Weekend.

We ran errands, buying eggs and ham, had an Easter party that evening, went out to dinner. Saturday entailed running for Thomas in the morning while I dyed eggs with the girls and then to tennis, home for a bit of afternoon conference and off to shop for me and priesthood conference for him. We met up afterwards for a nice dinner date to celebrate our anniversary and got home late but mustered up a little more energy to set up Easter.

And so it is, we have marked our Eleventh year of marriage together. Some days it feels just like yesterday that we were married, wondering how we were going to pay our utility bills, and now, here we are with 4 kids, one a "tween" (Alli insists on being called a tween), with more responsibilities and opportunities than we could have imagined. What a beautiful life. Through all of life's struggles and triumphs, I couldn't have dreamt up a better companion. He is my constant, my protector, my best friend, my love.

I love you Thomas, you're the best....
oh and thank you for my awesome gift, I love it!

Congratulations! I cannot believe it's been 11 years since I put up signs all over the dorms saying "Jolene's Engaged." What a nerd I was. Happy anniversary! (and you look GREAT in that picture)
