We had a little surprise when we came home from Disneyland last week...
three little kitties were hidden underneath Alli's bed. We were wondering when they would arrive and of course, they came when we were out of town.
The girls have been spending many hours in Alli's room watching these three little kitties and have of course named them already. I have been mentioning as much as possible that we will not be keeping them. The decision was made almost immediately after the girls started calling themselves 'The Cat Ladies.' I definitely don't want my family to be known as the cat lady family, I have 3 girls I will need to marry off someday.
But I will admit that it did bring back many fond memories of when I was child. I loved animals, and as you can see I loved cats. I am glad that the girls have gotten the chance to experience this little bit of 'nature's magic' but it will only last for 6 weeks. That's plenty of time...right?

You are going to separate those poor little kitties from their Mama? How could you! How would you like it if someone took your baby away when it was only 6 weeks old! ;) I can't believe that they are all different colors. Payton and Graham are sooooo jealous! They want Mojo to have babies! ;) Lee says he wants one.
jolene, you are a mean mom, you have to let them keep those kittens! We had so much fun with our cats look at us! What a bonding moment!
How cute! I love the color combination.
I am glad I finally got to see them via blog. I do love kitties, too bad they make me sneeze!! Love the old pics btw.
What a great childhood pic of you. I am going to bet you $5 you still have 3 adorable kittens in 8 weeks. Tammi
hey we used to put our strawberry shortcake underwear on our cat and then she would take off outside!! sometimes she came back with it on still, sometimes not...what a naughty cat. we did watch her have kittens on my bedroom floor. i think i was in third grade. I was amazed! I had no idea what it was so i ran into my dad's room screaming "there are rats all over my floor!!!"
I cat-sat for a family when they were out of town once and the kittens were born while they were gone too! I guess cats like privacy.
Was it kind of a mess?
This made me want to go through my own childhood album. I have plenty of kitten pics. I have to agree that it is part of the childhood experience.
