A letter to my husband on our anniversary.

Dear Thomas,

Can it be that we've already been married for 10 years? Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that I meat you in the Morris Center Cafeteria at Sunday dinner. Do you remember how you were sitting alone and I thought I was being funny and so I convinced about 6 of my dorm roommates and I to sit by you? I remember you were wearing a hat and were looking down at your plate most of the time, I'm not sure if you hardly said a word but later that night you called us up to go for a drive...too bad I wasn't there though. No worries , because we went dancing a few nights later and the next day I couldn't stop thinking about you. I remember thinking how weird it was that I hardly knew you and your name and face kept on running through my mind constantly. I knew then you were the one for me. Unfortunately it took me a lot longer to convince you...it always does. :)

I remember the night you proposed to me so clearly. We were at a gas station and I was sitting in the car while you were filling up, we were on the way to the movies and when you got into the car you asked me to take my rings back (you would put my rings on your pinkie when I got sick of wearing them) and when I reached to get them back I saw a sparkling diamond on your pinkie, it really did catch me off guard. Then you asked me if I would be your wife...we were so excited we skipped the movie and went home to tell everyone. That was such a fun night.

What a great life we have had for 10 whole years, we've had a little sadness but so much joy. We have come a far way in 10 years and I am so proud of you and who you have become. You are a wonderful father, husband and friend. You bring me true joy and I thank our Heavenly Father every day for guiding me to you. You are the absolute best and I love every minute we spend together, quiet or loud, fast or slow. You truly make me happy.

Happy 10th! I love you,

Jo

Love the desk book shelf. I love those thighs. I was kissing him yesterday and got a mouth full of neck chub and almost had a baby yearning. You 2 are great together, time does fly by. Have a gret anniversary. tammi

It's so weird to read this and have BEEN THERE for it all. I actually went on that drive with Thomas! The other girls made me sit in front and I was so shy about it. Weird. I also remember sitting by him that first day in the Morris Center. Way to act on your instincts, dude. Those HOURS long phone calls in the fall...sitting by you in Music 101 when you talked about how much you missed him...those are fun memories. Happy anniversary guys!!

P.S. love that wedding picture, I don't think I've ever seen your wedding pics. Your dress is beautiful!

Those are fun memories. I must be getting Alzheimer's or something because I can't remember for sure if I was at the Morris Center that time or if I went in the car with Thomas. That was 11 years ago!
